Ultra Rare Horror Comedy Blood Nasty Free On Youtube

Blood Nasty is a very rare horror comedy directed by Richard Gabai and Robert Strauss. I consider myself pretty knowledgeable about horror films but somehow this movie flew under the radar as I have never heard of it until last night! 

It's about a guy named Roy who robs the grave of Mexican serial killer occultist named Blade. He gets double crossed by his partners in crime who kill him, steal the killers ring and flee by plane. The plane crashes and the ring magically falls back on the grave of Roy and the ring brings Roy back to life although he is possessed by Blade.

His low life family is stoked because they get a big settlement from the airline but then are bummed when zombie Roy returns home which might cause them to lose the money. His girlfriend is a wannabe nurse and Roy's family figure that something is wrong about Roy when he kills her in her in her RV with an electric carving knife.

Meanwhile in Florida, Blade's stripper/psychic girlfriend (played by Godmother Of Scream Queens Linnea Quigley) senses that Blade is back alive and sees where he is located via crystal ball. Mrs. Quigley does several topless scenes in the film as well as being in sex lingerie the whole time.

Lots of high jinx unravel as Roy/Blade threatens and mutilates his family such as this scene where he forces his mother's hand into the garbage disposal.

I had a lot of fun with this movie and thought that it really worked as a horror comedy. It was kinda in the vein of a John Waters movie though not quite as over the top. Really talented actors who had great timing as well as several 80's attractive ladies. Towards the end there were a couple of scenes that didn't really work and seemed like the filmmakers were stretching for time but that is easily forgivable. Def check this movie out!!
