I subscribe to magician Paul Prater's newsletter and recently got a sneak peak at a upcoming product he will be releasing called Lips Don't Lie.

Mr. Prater specializes in bizarre magic and I enjoyed his podcast on the subject so much I wanted to purchase his book Maleficium. When it comes to magic I am a very careful shopper. It's pretty easy to buy everything that looks neat and I try and avoid this. I reached out to Mr. Prater to see if he would help me out if I had any questions about his book and he wrote a very helpful email back so I knew he was someone I could make a purchase from and trust. I bought the book and loved it and it was a wonderful value!

Lips Don't Lie is new material about how to do a special kind of reading. This particular style of reading is for women (or transvestites but lets not go there!). Let me tell you, if your single guy this system will be absolutely deadly!! All the mechanics are there to make the ladies swoon plus you can leave them your number or get their number! This system is so powerful Mr. Prater met his lovely girlfriend with it! The spoken for gentleman could also have flirty fun with it as well of course. This is def going into my arsenal the next time I hit the bars!

Mr. Prater said no money was necessary in exchange for this wonderful .pdf but I am so happy with it I will be sending him something via paypal. I will say though that I think this material would be much more valuable as a video product. A simple webcam video explaining the system or even better would be Mr. Prater in the field performing this reading live. You definitely want to get on his mailing list at paulprater.com so you can get first dibs on his new stuff. Paul Prater is one of the best thinkers in the bizarre magic community for sure!

Punk T-shirt Drama

On Facebook I liked all these bitchy little punk rock fan pages. Every time they whine and complain I am totally tempted to push the unlike button, which I have done already for many of these pages. People have unliked my fan page as well but whatever!

A common complaint I read often is that people the page owners don't consider "true punk" are wearing punk rock t-shirts. They cry "They probably don't even know what genre their shirt is" or "They probably never even listened to the band".

First off, bands like Ramones and Misfits are mainstream as fuck. Their songs are used in nationwide corporate advertising campaigns and probably most Americans have heard at least one of their songs. The bands were super successful and lots of people from all walks of life enjoy their music. This is a good thing!

Second, when high profile people wear punk t-shirts it elevates the whole genre. Millions of faggot kids all over the world are more likely to go to their first punk show when someone from a mega band like One Direction wear a punk t-shirt. More heads at concerts means more money for smaller bands who can then can go tour and live out their rock 'n roll dreams.

Bigger is better! The idea that punk means unsuccessful and obscure is fucking stupid and needs to stop! Punk should be all inclusive and open to everybody. The bigger it gets the better for everybody involved. If you have a t-shirt I'd mail some to any celeb who will wear it!

The Greatest Networker In The World Book Review

The Greatest Networker In The World is a story about a loser trying to make extra money in MLM who is ready to give up until he spends a weekend with a guru who turns his life around.

MLM is a business structure where you sell shit to your friends and family and then try and get them to sell the same shit. If they sign under you you get a cut of their sales. Basically like a pyramid scam except you are actually selling a product which is why it's legal. MLM is not for me at this time but there is stuff I can learn from it and apply it to my business.

One technique taught in this book is to watch a mental movie of your life in your head. See everything you accomplish in your awesome film worthy life. Then create a balance in your life to make these things happen.

Also it talks about the key to MLM marketing is to train people to be teachers.

Pretty neat book I learned from even though I kinda think the premise is fake and it is some kinda metaphor or parable or something. Worth reading!

You're Stressing Me Out!!! Zine Review

Got a new zine in the mail from my good buddy at Gonk Publishing. Seems like mini-zines is the new thing and I am loving it! I have to say I like this one even better then the last mini-zines I received mostly because this style is something I could replicate easier. Instead of a ton of intense folding this is four quarter pages folded in half and stapled. So you get a 14 page zine made of a single sheet of double side copy paper and two staples. How awesome is that! If I were going to make a zine like this I would probably add a extra quarter page on color paper as a cover though.

The zine is awesome, it's a personal story, the kind of thing you find only in zines. It's about a Summer where author is living with his girlfriend and her crazy roommate/friend. The roommate hates his guts so he has to deal with that all Summer. Hand written. I wish he would have added a cartoon though because I love his drawing style. Still an awesome little zine!

New Science Fiction Film Nebula

Nebula is a new science fiction film currently in development. The film has real science, a unique futuristic vision, contact with an alien race, and non-CGI special effects by artists from around the world. It will feature models and set design by top professionals in the industry. I know I am going to make a contribution and you can too here: http://igg.me/at/nebula/x/7626 I asked creator Jerry Lentz a few questions:

I like how this movie is going to be about real science. Do you think science could get this country out of the slump it's in?

Thanks! I absolutely do! There are so many great science programs that don't get the funding, and once the few that do, the next administration cuts them off before any results can be seen in the economy. Science is not only great for an economy, it is great for Mankind! We must keep moving forward! We must evolve! We must spread out among the planets. We must protect this Earth from the extinction causing asteroid that will one day come.

I always thought it was cheesy how in most sci fi the aliens basically are humanoid, with a head, arms and legs. Do you think aliens would really be shaped like humans?

I do only in the sense that they would want to create a look that wouldn't frighten us. Those that don't care about us certainly will look more like bacteria or jellyfish. I imagine any alien contact with us will be through their biomechanical avatars and robots, though their robots will probably seem very lifelike, even appear sentient and autonomous.

My biggest pet peeve in sci fi is when a movie is supposed to take place in the future and there is music I heard in high school on the soundtrack! What kind of score are you going to have for Nebula?

Lol, yes! There is hopefully one song from the 1970's that will be the closing credit song, but I seriously doubt we are getting the rights. It was only going to be used as a punchline. I believe some of our crappiest music will be considered classics in the future, lol.

I want an electronic score very much like "Forbidden Planet" and the work of the BBC Radiophonic Workshop. However, I want it to be organic, if that makes any sense.

How far into the future is this film set?

Well, it is very far, and it spans millions of years. The main characters sleep for 1000s of years, wake up, do maintenance jobs, then sleep another 1000 years. Humans evolve, and devolve, and these sleep workers stay the same and are in constant danger of being replaced by the latest human form. They have to fight to stay relevant.

Can donating a dollar to a crowd funding campaign really help?

We're looking for $78,000, so if we get 78,000 people backing us with one dollar each, lol... That will help!

I'm very excited by the contributors we now have being true genre fans and even big names in the field of special effects and science fiction. That seal of approval by people that create in the field of science fiction, science, NASA, Space X, and Astronomy feels so unimaginable!!! It makes me feel there is an audience of people like me whose pet peeves are sounds in space, lol

Thanks so much! I am looking forward to this film!!

Thank you so much for having here with your MORMO readers!

The Lords Of Salem Redbox Review

Rented The Lords Of Salem from Redbox. Wow man this movie is intense! Totally awesome!! Horror high art masterpiece!! It's the story of a rock music DJ who gets a record in a wood box that makes her trip out and experience all kinds of satanic witchcraft stuff.

First thing is, Sheri Moon Zombie is a lovely woman. I got to meet her at Comic Con one year and yeah she is super beautiful and very nice. So I'm thinking her as a DJ with a sweet apartment walking her dog and stuff all ready made this a winning movie I could watch for a hour and a half.

Second, I have a witch fetish. Witches saving the world, destroying the world, torturing, getting tortured, whatever then the scenario if it's about witches I am totally into it!

Add to all this amazing psychedelic surreal satanic imagery. Not every scene worked but I consider this film experimental. Mr. Zombie is trying out new techniques in cinematography and story telling.  One huge goof though is that Mrs. Zombie goes to NA and claims to be clean but in one scene she drinks wine. Alcohol is a drug, PERIOD!!!

I can't see how this film got such bad word of mouth? Fuck the haters! I thought it was wonderful and can't recommend it enough! I hate myself for not making the drive to see this on the big screen but oh well. I will def watch it again!

Daddy, I'm A Zombie Redbox Review

I rented Daddy, I'm A Zombie from Redbox. It's the story of Dixie a young goth/emo girl who lives with her mortician father. Her parents separated. She hates school because she gets teased and has no friends. Her classmates pull a cruel trick on her which leads to her running through a forest and a tree falls on her. When she wakes up she finds out she is a zombie and befriends a mummy named Isis. To be returned to the living world she needs to go on an adventure involving werewolves, an evil witch, a zombie pirate boy and a hippie I don't know what. Happy ending with Dixie learning gratitude and the power of being positive.

Click here for kids Halloween costumes! Don't shop at Wal-Mart!!

This is a really cute movie. It stays fun and interesting the whole way through. The animation is very good. I had hard time understanding some of the characters but it didn't effect my enjoyment of the film. Daddy, I'm A Zombie is about one hundred times better then Frankenweenie which I found very dull and boring and with a over all bad message to kids. This movie teaches good lessons about friendship and having a good attitude. Def check this movie out!

If your McEmployer won't pay for Obamacare... MAKE THEM PAY!!

10/1/2013

Did your hours get cut because of big bad Obamacare? Your corporate employer didn't want to pay for your affordable health care so they demoted you to part time? How does that make you feel? Basically the company you work for is so greedy they don't care if you live or die.

Think about this, you could have cancer right now. A medical check up could detect the cancer and treatment could stop it and allow you to live ten years longer. As it is, your employer pays you so little you can't afford to go the doctor and they are too cheap to give you affordable health care.

Going to the doctor is expensive without health care! It cost me twice as much as a years worth of medication to get a doctor to fax my refill to the pharmacy. If you make minimum wage or close to it you can't afford to save your own life!
You're corporate employer is putting your life in danger just so they can keep more of the profits YOU are earning them! You might die because they want to have more money then they could even ever spend!

It's time make them pay! I'm not talking about theft or violence, I'm talking about sabotage. Break shit equal to what it would cost them to pay for your health care. You know where the cameras are so it should it be easy to not get caught. Be sneaky about it. If you can, break shit they won't find out about until weeks later.

Don't feel bad about it, they deserve it! It's your life they are fucking with. What's the worst thing that could happen? You get fired? You aren't making enough money to survive anyway so what difference will it make? And here's the thing, they are taking 40 hours and turning it into two 20 hours. That means more crappy McJob's will be available.

Please share this article. Corporations needs to know they can't jeopardize American lives.
