I had been receiving and reviewing this dudes zines and comix for a little while when he sent me a note saying he had a band and they had a new album on cassette for 3 bucks. Dude (poor name memory) is so cool and just a guy a living the zinester dream so I was stoked to send him the cash and check out his band. Cassettes are good because that's what I got in my car.
The cassette is pretty slick and well put together. The music is sloppy, chaotic and like nothing I have ever heard before. When I listen to it driving around in my car I feel like it's doomsday and the world is ending or something. Unstructured instruments and various noises like a typewriter and bicycle bell. The singer sounds like a mumbling schizophrenic. This music sounds very new and exciting! As soon as I get a few bucks I'm gonna mail off for more cassettes from this label!
