After 9–11, Bush officially started “The War On Terror”. Those darn terrorist blew up our buildings so now USA is gonna bring it! Except we didn’t go after the folks who blew us up, we went after other Middle East people we didn’t like. I guess if you fight one kebab, you fight the whole baba ghanoush! You may be thinking “It was a honest mistake! All terrorsits look alike!”. That is some racist stuff right there my friend.
And sure, we do have some Middle Eastern (AKA terrorists, N-words) friends. We help them out from time to time with money and weapons. But I ask you, when was the last time we invited them over for dinner? And they may be our friends today but if our bike ever goes missing, “those darn terrorists” are going to be the first ones we are going to blame.
I can see the comments now. “But terrorists cut off our heads!” While I agree this is terrible, I would like to remind you of the words of Jesus Christ: “Let he who has not shock and awe killed 4.153 civilians throw the first air strike”. Swords may be primitive compared to our far superior technology, but should we really resort to racist name calling over a lack of B-2 bombers?
We as Americans have come a long way in regards to civil rights. Abraham Lincoln fought so hard to make sure people were treated with dignity and respect. It is time we stop using hate speech as a country.
