Shivertown Issue One is a comic book released by Mystery House Comics out of Boise Idaho. I met writer Jon Keithley at the Fandemonium convention and bought this issue and had it signed.
It tells the story of a hard drinking, hard boiled private eye. He's getting too old for this stuff!! His daughter is a failing artist and this detective pays all her bills. After a particularly hard day catching bad guy he picks up his daughter to tell her about her new job.
Awesome scratchy art and cool noir type dialogue and story make this a really fun read. I wish I would have bought the second issue as well. Also includes a full page ad for Spacebar which is a bar/arcade I been meaning to check out. Great comic!!
