Midnight Movie is a slasher flick from 2008. I watched on the Crackle channel on Roku. It's about some young people, a biker couple and two detectives watching an old 70's black and white horror film in a run down theater at midnight. The movie was made by a madman who escaped a mental hospital five years earlier. Fiction turns into reality as the film in the film's killer starts slashing the theater patrons one by one.
It's a real slick movie that looks as good as anything coming out of Hollywood. Really neat concept too. The killers mask looks like a Halloween decoration bought at Party City though. Still a good movie.
