Bio: Detox music came from all the experiences they've had on Hamra street to date, all the booze and drugs in the alleys, the dirty cops, the militias, and the wars... everything that is far from the real meaning of detox.

And I know most people think "oh, it's the middle east" but before the civil war Lebanon was one of the most westernized country outside the west. Also you have to blame rednecks for literally killing punks in the late 70's and early 80's. Right now there is a scene of 20-30 punks, and I mean hardcore motherfuckers not hipsters in an indie rock band. and there is about 3 out of 6 people in the Jbeil alley scene that truly define themselves as punk (me being on of them)... A big punk scene in Lebanon? maybe not in the present but there was in the past and hopefully the second generation will benefit from the scene me and my band are trying to form in our city. - Victor Outlaw
