Ted V: I always keep very busy day and night and filming again this weekend on my current movie what's up?
Mormo: I was wanting to interview on this new social media website called blab. It's a streaming live video website and you can record and upload to youtube. You log in with a twitter account.
Ted V: I never tried to learn how to do it. I guess I have just been too busy to use any spare time for that purpose. I do not know even how to log into Twitter or even Facebook for that matter but I do get a lot of Facebook Communications.
Mormo: God bless man I love your films mostly the black slave one.
Ted V: Thank you Shane, I am doing a sequel to one of my very popular movies from 35 years ago called 10 violent Women Part 2 where the girls do justice to the bad guys that are beating them up, violating them, and even killing two of them before the girls get together and break heads it should be a good movie. The movie I made with the slave girls was because they came to my studio about 8 2000 + one or two and I made a movie of their stage play called looking for a man. The black actresses were so good that I gave them a script of mine to read which was called them the last days of the ambassodor. They loved it so much they even gave me a few start-up dollars to get it made more in the style that it is as you see it and thank you for looking at it I appreciate that you never know if anyone sees your movies or not even though I have made them for 66 years but my health is not what it used to be and I'm having a great struggle and no longer standing up at the camera now I have to train a young cameraman to take my place while I stick to directing.
Mormo: I rented the black slave girl movie from netflix a few years ago.
Ted V: Sometimes I do have time to communicate via email and answer number 2 questions for people doing an interview. There are presently two books being written on my life for which I am honored and pleased, but when McFarland put out the book on me by Christopher Curry called film Alchemy the independent cinema of Ted V mikel's another book was written about myself by the black woman who co-produced with me on the slave women's Justice movie and it is quite a book available on Amazon for about 12 bucks called The King and I and they spelled it eye the king and I.
Mormo: Wow i need to get that book!
Ted V: I am both happy and sad that Netflix had it because I get absolutely nothing 4 making the movie. Nothing at all and I have never given Netflix permission 2 offer it. The poor creative person always gets cheated out of everything I guess and that is why I am working harder than ever just to put food on the table. It's hard to believe after 66 years of filmmaking that that is the case now. My best Money Maker was 1971, the corpse grinders, I released it as a 3 movie Triple bill and it really did Big Business at theaters and drive-in theaters another successful one was my movie The Doll Squad. 10 violent women the original I filmed in 1979 but struggled for a diesel release until 1983 was also a very popular movie but strange things happened in distribution and I got beat out of all of the income from it the distributor never gave me a report nor any of the money that my movie has earned at theaters and Drive-ins it was a crooked New York distributor. Shane the big problem about the film Alchemy Independence Cinema of Ted V mikel's is that MacFarlane made a big buck out of it and it has probably 150 photos but they overprice it I think at 4995. It would have been I think a good seller if it were 12 or 14 95. I think the ladies of the black female group have their book on Amazon I think at 1295 but it is a different sort of book.
Mormo: I got a Doll Squad dvd signed by Tura Satana.
Ted V: How did you first find out about my movies? And I am happy to hear you say you have liked my movies can you tell me which ones you have seen?
Mormo: I first read about your movies in a book called Incredibly Strange Films by Re/Search publishing. I owned a bootleg copy of Corpse Grinders I made myself. I met you at a Fangoria convention years ago. I have seen corpse grinders 2 and astro zombies 2
Ted V: God bless you it is nice to hear from someone that I have met and especially at one of the shows as they were always so difficult to attend. Torah was more dear to me than anyone will ever know except in the book or that is the movie that is being made about her right now we were very close and I was very saddened when she passed she always attended every one of the film special shows dedicated to my work when I was the guest. She always showed up even flying through the city where I was being honored of course I can never forget that and I am very close to her family to this day in fact her granddaughter is in my current movie he flies in from Reno when I need her new film her name is Sharla and I told her that she should use the last name of Santana like her grandmother there is no end in Santana I guess I will have to spell it out without the end as it is satana, well it did it correctly that time.
Mormo: Wow I look forward to seeing the new movie! I will try and get a signed copy.
Ted V: I lost you momentarily, and I am not sure how you made the connection but should you wish to communicate further, or in the future my email address is very simple [email protected]. thank you Shane for the communication I am going to shut down now to study for tomorrow's filming so take care and I would never know how to reach you back so if you don't use my email address it may not get to me. You did this time although I don't know how so take care and good luck with your life.
