Here Have A Turd is a political zine from my good pen pal buddy Sid Clark. I talks about the evil of big cities, the Mega-SoapOpera, the Godhood Project, the Mega-machine and several other topics.

The thing I love about this zine is that inspires a lot of thought. Something is seriously wrong with society and it seems to me that our culture for the most part is heading the wrong direction. It's great that people are publishing critical thinking type zines like this to define what the problem is. I am a city boy at heart and while I don't disagree with what Sid is saying, I embrace a lot of the culture of death type stuff.

This zine is super polished and looks and feels like a professionally produced booklet. Many strange pics have been added as well as a color front and back cover.

Thanks, Mormo!

The slickness is due to my using Scribus (a free DTP program) to lay it out and then giving the PDF to a print shop to print. Cost $2 each to print.

I'm going to try to put more personal stuff in my next edition, like that computer lab thing I sent you.

But what does, "I embrace a lot of the culture of death type stuff", mean? You know pop culture is evil but you enjoy it anyway? Well, I'm not looking for fanatics or purists. I'm just exercising my right to be negative about a lot of things. And as Emerson said, "a foolish consistency is the hobgoblin of little minds".

Well, I am one of those poor people who will spend his last dollar on a crap Hollywood movie. Also consider myself a connoisseur of corporate junk food. Plus like the desperation of the big city.

What I was trying to say though is that even though I do not agree with every point you make I still benefit from reading because it inspires thought about what I think is wrong with society.

I meant to include your computer lab report in the review but forgot.

Big fan of your work! Please keep it up!!
