This is an ancient legendary show review I will never forget and yet hardly remember. It was a rare all ages show which I think was in a Masonic Temple or somewhere vaguely religious/occult. The headlining bands were The Gizzards and Karl Marx Band and maybe someone else(?). I was so proud because I had handmade shitty patches for the bands. That's the awesome thing about punk is that if you are down to work, no matter how poor quality your output, you are part of the crew. It was a huge room with a big stage and in the corner you could buy cans of beer out of a cooler. The Gizzards rocked it on stage and I believe gave me some kind of a shout out. Maybe played a recording of me introducing the band. I think this was one of their earlier shows. After the set I met one of the Shitgiveit's for the first time (Todd Awful?). Karl Marx had their tour bus parked outside and I partied in it for the rest of the show. Super wasted, Gizzards and entourage walked down to the beach to this bar/seafood place where we chowed down on fried baby octopuses. LOL this was the peak of my life!
