I thought it was a super gory and scary movie but kind of fell apart in the third act.
It reminded me of this time I rode Space Mountain at Disneyland California. Half way through the ride it broke down and we had to wait 15 minutes. They fixed it and as we were pulling into the unloading dock they announced "We're going to let you go on the ride a second time". I was all ready over the ride and the second time through was just kind of boring and annoying.
I mean how many times can you see a dismemberment before it just gets banal?
Also the plot of the movie was spelled out by The Necromnomicon which looked like a satanic childrens book. No back story on the book just pictures with a few words showing what was happening in the movie.
Bottom line it was a fun movie and the gore was worth the ticket price just leave your brain at home.
