Watched this documentary on the Crackle channel on Roku. It's about the punk rock musician Jay Reatard who played in many different bands and also as a solo artist. He was a prolific musician who released many records. He was saying he released a new record every 6 months for ten years. The film featured Jay performing and being interviewed all over the world.
In typical punk fashion he was a complicated person. He was in so many bands it seems because he could be difficult to work with. He said he was either going full speed on his projects or doing absolutely nothing.
I really enjoyed the music. There was a variety of different styles in his songs, from poppy to super aggressive hard and fast sound. One of his friends said his music was influenced by whatever he was into at the moment.
